Looking to improve clinical efficiency through technology?
The NP Provincial Initiatives and Programs (NP-PIP) has created a custom QI project for NPs interested in improving their clinical efficiency. Clinic Efficiency Resource Awareness (“CERA”) is an opportunity for you to collect a clinical practice snapshot, educate yourself about QI and technology optimization, and engage with an EMR superuser in real time.
Completing a CERA QI project provides an NP with the opportunity to better understand and leverage existing tools related to improving clinical efficiency and create a starting point for utilizing QI methodology to improve patient access and provider satisfaction. Each NP completing a CERA QI project will learn from curated resources and subject matter experts to support them in applying time-saving strategies to their clinical day.
The project includes:
- Practice Snapshot at start and completion, 1-month and 3-months after completion of the project
- QI/EMR/technology-based resource learning series
- Virtual mentorship/job shadowing with an EMR superuser subject matter expert from the Mobile Skills Team
