2024 LPN Fee

Association Membership:  $51.00 inclusive of GST ($48.57 without GST)

  • LPNs have the option of including NNPBC when you renew your College registration (starting February 1, 2024). This is optional. If you choose to purchase NNPBC through the College, there is no need to purchase again.
  • If you do not purchase NNPBC with your College registration you may purchase NNPBC through our website.
Remember if you purchased NNPBC as part of the bundled option when you renewed your license with the college, there is NO NEED to purchase again.

Association Membership:  $25.50 inclusive of GST ($24.29 without GST)

  • Those in the non-practising category have the option of including NNPBC when you renew your College registration (starting February 1, 2024). If you choose to purchase NNPBC through the College, there is no need to purchase again. This is optional.
  • If you do not purchase NNPBC with your College registration you may purchase NNPBC through our website.

Retired/Student Nurses

Association Membership:  $25.50 inclusive of GST ($24.29 without GST)

  • Associate members have access to all NNPBC programs and services but are not able to vote in elections and/or run for Council seats.
  • Employed Student Nurses: If you did not join NNPBC when you purchased your College registration, you may feel free to purchase Associate membership through our website.
  • Please note: Practising RNs currently studying to be an NP must pay the RN membership fee.

Please note, NNPBC will implement a mid-year fee starting October 1, 2024. The mid year fee will be $24. 15 inclusive of GST for RNs, RPNs, NPs and LPNs only  (ESNs, non-practising and Associates pay the same amount regardless of when you join).

  1. What does NNPBC cost?
    NNPBC’s annual fee for the 2024-25 membership year is $48.57+GST ($51.00 inclusive of GST) annually for practising RNs, RPNs, NPs, and LPNs; and $24.29+GST ($25.50 inclusive of GST) for non-practising nurses, Associate members and Affiliate members.
  2. What do I get with NNPBC membership?
    NNPBC knows that nurses have felt the burden of fees and the increased cost of living. NNPBC’s annual fee is only $51.00 including GST and remains among the lowest of health professional associations. We continue to increase our programs, services, and offerings. Membership includese:

  3. How will I join in 2024?
    At the time of your registration renewal with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) from February 1-March 31, 2024, you will be provided with an option when purchasing your mandatory professional liability protection from CNPS to choose either the bundled or individual rate. The bundled rate allows you to retain NNPBC membership for 2024. You may also opt to purchase NNPBC membership at any time directly through our website. Please note, if you have already purchased NNPBC membership through your BCCNM renewal, you do not need to purchase it again.
  4. What if I purchased NNPBC membership later in the year (October 2023 - January 31, 2024)?
    NNPBC offered a 2023 partial year membership rate for those who purchased membership later in 2023 (i.e. between October 2023-January 31, 2024). This partial year rate was a reduced rate and also ends March 31, 2024. To continue being a member after March 31, 2024, a 2024 membership must be purchased.

    NNPBC is the professional association representing all four nursing designations in BC – RNs, RPNs, LPNs and NPs. NNPBC advocates for healthy public policy, promotes excellence in nursing practice, increases nurses' contribution to shaping the health system, and influences decisions that affect nurses and the public they serve.
