Join representatives from the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of BC, and the Midwives Association of BC for an overview of the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA) and what it means for nurses, nurse practitioners and midwives in BC.
This webinar will explore key elements of the legislation, including the role of regulatory oversight, discipline processes, equity and discrimination considerations, and the distinct roles of regulatory colleges and professional associations under the HPOA. The session is intended to support understanding of the evolving health regulatory landscape in BC and provide high-level context for registrants and professionals preparing to practice.
The webinar will include a moderated Q&A period. A recording of the session will be posted online after the event.
