Job summary
We are seeking a licensed nurse with demonstrated expertise in venipuncture to support professional athlete health in support of ethics and drug-free sport. The primary responsibility of this role is drawing blood safely, efficiently, and patient care. Candidates must have an active RN or LPN license to practice in British Columbia and proven experience performing blood draws for professional athletes, including those affiliated with organizations such as various Olympic Federations and the World Anti-Doping Agency. Strong knowledge of specimen handling, labeling, and transport protocols is required. All medical equipment and transportation to and from designated testing sites are provided. Professionalism, confidentiality, and precision are essential.
Key responsibilities
Perform venipuncture procedures in strict accordance with established medical protocols and safety standards.
Utilize provided materials and equipment to ensure accurate, sterile, and efficient blood collection.
Sign and adhere to a confidentiality agreement to protect sensitive athlete health information.
Arrive punctually at the designated testing site and specific location as scheduled.
Participate in a brief telephone interview as part of the selection and onboarding process.
Be available to conduct testing on March 9th at 5:45 a.m. and complete all assigned duties during that time.

*Must have a valid certification to practice in British Columbia
*Must have experience and competence in phlebotomy
*Must be willing to sign a statement of confidentiality
Compensation & benefits
$110 per test.
Test time: 05:45 am - 8:00 am
Tests usually conclude early.
Test date: March 9th, 2026
There will be more tests to be scheduled throughout the year.
