Role Overview

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners licensed in British Columbia to join our virtual clinical team. This fully remote role involves independent assessment, lab results review, treatment planning, prescribing, and follow up care for adult patients using Telus CHR.

 

This position is suitable for NPs seeking flexible scheduling or supplemental clinical practice alongside existing roles.

 

Fully remote practice within British Columbia

 

Key responsibilities

  • Review patient medical history and intake questionnaires
  • Order and review lab tests and interpret results
  • Determine clinical eligibility for TRT, bHRT, and medical weight management
  • Conduct virtual video consultations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and monitor therapies within NP scope of practice
  • Provide patient education and ongoing follow up care
  • Adjust treatment plans and renew prescriptions as clinically appropriate
  • Document all encounters in Telus CHR in accordance with regulatory standards

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Nurse Practitioner licence in good standing with BCCNM
  • Authorization to prescribe controlled substances
  • Ability to independently assess, diagnose, prescribe, and order laboratory tests
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • CNPS liability protection
  • Compliance with PIPA and BCCNM virtual care and documentation standards
  • Reliable internet connection and private professional workspace

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in men’s health, women’s health, or metabolic care
  • Prior experience with TRT, bHRT, or medical weight management
  • Experience with Telus CHR or similar EMR

 

Compensation & benefits

  • CA$65 to CA$85 per hour equivalent based on consultation volume, with potential for higher effective earnings based on patient volume and efficiency
