Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan

• Conduct health assessments, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient outcomes

• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and investigations as appropriate

• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with NP scope of practice and BCCNM standards

• Manage acute and chronic health conditions using evidence-informed clinical practice

• Provide preventative care, health promotion, and patient education

• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and community resources to support optimal patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the delivery of patient-centered care

• Foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic environment

Qualifications

• Current registration or eligibility for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

 

Compensation & benefits

Competitive compensation package ranging from $145,000–$185,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and practice model.
