Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a part-time Clinical Educator, specializing in ablative procedures using the Jett Plasma Pen. In this role, you will train and mentor medical professionals across Canada and occasionally in the United States, delivering high-quality, hands-on instruction in advanced plasma energy techniques. Key responsibilities

Clinical Education & Training: Lead comprehensive training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations for medical professionals on the safe and effective use of the Jett Plasma Pen for ablative procedures.

Curriculum Development: Assist in developing and refining educational materials, training manuals, and competency assessments to ensure consistent, evidence-based instruction.

Travel & On-Site Support: Travel to clinics, conference centers, and training facilities across Canada and occasionally in the U.S. to deliver in-person training and provide clinical support.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all training adheres to strict safety protocols, infection control standards, and relevant provincial, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Technique Demonstration: Perform live demonstrations and guide trainees through ablative procedures, including patient assessment, treatment planning, device settings, and post-procedure care.

Mentorship: Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to new users, troubleshooting clinical questions and helping practitioners build confidence with the technology.

Product Expertise: Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Jett Plasma Pen, staying current on software updates, technique advancements, and industry best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support product launches, attend trade shows, and contribute to educational content as needed.

 

Qualifications

Licensure: Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Canada (or equivalent U.S. licensure/APRN certification). Must be in good standing with your regulatory college.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine, with direct experience performing ablative and non-ablative procedures using plasma pen technology ( Plasma Pen experience strongly preferred).

Teaching Aptitude: Prior experience in clinical education, preceptorship, or professional training is highly desirable. Comfortable speaking in front of groups and providing constructive feedback.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Canada and occasionally to the United States. Must possess or be eligible to obtain necessary travel documentation (valid passport, any required visas or work authorizations for U.S. entry).

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset but not required.

Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills, a polished professional demeanour, and a genuine passion for advancing the field of aesthetic medicine through education.

Additional Assets: Certification in aesthetic procedures (e.g., botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, laser technologies) is a plus.

 

Compensation & benefits

Hourly Rate: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, licensure, and training background.

Travel Coverage: All work-related travel expenses fully covered, including transportation (flights/mileage), accommodations, and meals.
