The Gerontological Nurses Association of British Columbia (GNABC) invites you to submit an abstract for an oral presentation at our upcoming provincial conference. We seek to hear from those professionals who work in settings and communities that provide care or services to older adults (including indigenous people and immigrants). Some examples of such settings include: residential care, community care, mental health, acute care, rehabilitation and correctional facilities.

The proposed presentation abstract needs to relate to the conference theme. We look forward to your abstract in providing an insight into how your work in practice, education, research or administration meets the needs and improves the care of the diverse populations of seniors or the diversities within the communities of the older adults. Presentations may include: innovative practices, practice protocols, educational programs, project initiatives, research findings. We desire all attending the conference will leave having gained some practical knowledge which can be applied to their practice.

You may submit more than one proposal and presentations may take the format of a workshop session, panel discussion and/or other formats may be considered as well. GNABC and non-GNABC members are eligible to submit an abstract.

GNABC reserves the right to select abstracts for presentation based on a number of factors, including on the basis of relevance, interest, relation of presentation to the theme etc.
