Lenore DuGas, RN, ET, BScN
Lenore recently retired from her position as Enterostomal Therapist from the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC), having held the position since 1981. She grew up in North Burnaby B.C. and trained as a nurse at Vancouver General Hospital, graduating in 1978. Lenore then entered enterostomal therapy training at St. Paul's hospital in 1981 and completed her BScN from the University of Victoria in 1995, all the while raising two sons and working. She has been and continues to be a proud supporter of the Canadian Association for Enterostomal Therapy.While currently living in Prince George with her husband, they will be moving to Vancouver Island in short order. Lenore leaves her profession of nearly 39 years with a heavy heart but knowing that her work partner will carry the torch and continue to provide care for the people of Prince George.
