Other News: Ministry of Health Service Plan Amended
ARNBC is pleased to share a letter from Mr. Ted Patterson, Acting Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Health, regarding an amendment to the Ministry of Health Service Plan 2014/15 - 2015/16.ARNBC worked closely with nursing partners to encourage government to amend the error that was made in the Service Plan which assigned responsibility for increases in scope of practice to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Please see the corrected text on Page 2 of the Service Plan.
We are proud to have worked with our nursing colleagues to ensure this change was made. ARNBC would like to thank Mr. Patterson, the Minister of Health and Ministry staff for responding quickly and efficiently to our concerns.
