ARNBC was delighted to partner with Change Day BC for "Change Day" which took place on October 15, 2015. Change Day was an opportunity to extend a challenge to members to commit to making a change or trying something new to indicate their commitment to changing care for the better. Pledges included things like:

• Spending a day in a hospital bed to better understand the patient experience.
• Introducing oneself by name to patients, residents or clients – a relatively little thing that can positively affect a patient's experience (and resulted in the global movement #hellomynameis)

"We hope all RNs and NPs will think about ways they themselves can pledge to make a small change that will make things better for their patients."
