Leadership Forum


Beginning at 5:30pm on May 28th, prior to the start of the AGM, ARNBC will be hosting a discussion focused on quality practice environments.

Graham Lowe will give a presentation entitled, "Quality Practice Environments = Better Health System Performance".

Responding to Graham's presentation will be Dr. Maura Macphee RN, PhD and Jessy Dame, new grad.

Graham Lowe is president of The Graham Lowe Group Inc., a workplace consulting and research firm. He also is a professor emeritus at the University of Alberta, where he had a distinguished academic career. Graham has three decades of organizational, labour market, and employment policy consulting experience. His latest book, Creating Healthy Organizations, is now available as an e-book and in paperback. He also has contributed articles to practitioner publications such as Canadian HR Reporter, Canadian Nurse, Qmentum Quarterly, HR Professional, and Healthcare Quarterly.

As a "thought leader" on work issues, Graham has given hundreds of conference talks and workshops across Canada and internationally. He is a recipient of the Canadian Workplace Wellness Pioneer Award and holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Toronto.
