This article is not complete and has not given credit where credit is due without mentioning BCNU. Why is this not mentioned?

I've worked at a sexual health centre that offered needle exchange, but we could not do safe injections. Great to hear about the incredible ground that is being broken and I'm so glad to hear that Insite was protected.

Our voice is loud, in touch with reality, focused on positive outcomes and unsullied by ideology - we need to ensure it's heard more!

I've had the pleasure to educate people (both in health care and not) on a microlevel when they ask "Oh, where do you work?" and I tell them that I've been at InSite since 2006. I then get the pleasure to educate them on what InSite does and the huge impact that it has on the community and clients. Whether advocacy on an individual level or on an wide-scale level like political activism, our voices are trusted and we need to be sure we use them!

It highlights the value of strategic partnerships among many organizations, professionals and levels of government to establish and sustain a vital public health service.

Congratulations to everyone involved along the way. I encourage others to contribute their comments.

I think most British Columbians are intrigued by what Insite is and how it works. I'd love to hear more about it. I'd even love to be involved somehow.

Thanks for sharing Irene.
