Nursing Awards of Excellence Gala

NNPBC is pleased to host the Nursing Awards of Excellence Gala to celebrate and honour the recipients of this year’s Nursing Awards of Excellence. The gala will take place January 9, 2025, from 5:30-10pm at the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel located in downtown Vancouver.
 

We invite all nurses and nurse practitioners around BC and their families, colleagues, and general public to purchase tickets to join us for this evening of celebration in the name of nursing excellence.
 

Please note, tickets are required to attend.

  • If you are the recipient of an award, do not complete the Purchase Tickets form ; contact us at awards@nnpbc.com.
  • If you are not an award recipient, tickets must be purchased in advance, and will not be available to purchase at the event. The names and entrée selections are required for each guest at the time of ticket purchase.

5:30 - 6:30pm Arrival & Refreshments
6:30 - 7:30pm Awards Ceremony
7:30 - 10:00pm Dinner & Reception

Adults $89 (inc tax)
Children (12 & under) $29 (inc tax)

Tickets include:

  • Three-course dinner including dessert
  • Reserved seating for ceremony and dinner
  • Professional photography for headshots or family photos



 

Food and Beverage

Arrival Reception

Guests can expect a spread of charcuterie, vegetables and antipasto upon arrival.
 

Plated Dinner

All guests will be served a plated dinner following the awards ceremony. Regular ticketholders will be required to select their entrée of choice and make note of any allergies at the time of ticket purchase. The plated dinner will consist of:

  • Appetizer: Beets, Tomatoes and Strawberries Salad (GF, V) – with mozzarella, baby arugula, pistachios, basil oil, hand-crafted raspberry vinaigrette
  • Entrée: Selection of:
    • Roasted Fraser Valley Chicken – with pancetta and sage, lemon braised potato, baby beets, carrots, celeriac puree, natural jus reduction
    • Pan-seared Sockeye Salmon (GF) - with preserved lemon and sweet pea risotto, petite vegetables, chervil butter sauce
    • Wild Mushroom Spinach Ricotta Roulade (GF, V) - with baby striped beets, asparagus, roasted cauliflower florets, roasted garlic cannellini bean puree, grape tomato basil vinaigrette, black pepper parmesan crisp
  • Dessert: Salted Chocolate Ganache Cake - with caramel sauce and vanilla bean-infused cream

Children's Menu

Children aged 12 and under will be served a special children's menu consisting of veggies and dip and baked macaroni and cheese for dinner, followed by vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and fruit for dessert. Please be sure to make note of any allergies at the time of ticket purchase.
 

Beverage Service

There will be a cash bar open throughout the evening with a selection of wine, beer and mixed drinks available for purchase. Please note the bar accepts debit and credit only. All guests wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages must be able to supply two pieces of government ID, in accordance with provincial law.
