Care Connect –<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong> is <\/span><\/span>BC\u2019s secure, view-only Electronic Health Record (EHR) that offers authorized care<\/span> providers<\/span> access to encounters, provincial and community lab results, diagnostic imaging, clinical documents from both non health authority and health authority sources, and provincial immunization records for patients within B.C.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Clinics can <\/span><\/span>request access to CareConnect<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong>. UptoDate<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong> is a<\/span> clinical <\/span>decision-making<\/span> support tool available <\/span>through NNPBC NP PIP and\/or<\/span> from your local <\/span>Division of<\/span> Family Practic<\/span>e<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Pathways<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong> is an online resource that gives providers and their office staff quick <\/span>access to<\/span> current and <\/span>accurate<\/span> forms and resources as well as referral information, including wait times and areas of expertise, for specialists and specialty clinics.<\/span> NPs can <\/span><\/span>request access<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong> to Pathways here and physicians<\/span> can <\/span><\/span>requ<\/span>e<\/span><\/strong>st access<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a> to <\/span>P<\/span>athways<\/span> here<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

PharmaNet<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong> is a p<\/span>rovincial network linking all BC pharmacies to a central data system administered by the Ministry of Health. <\/span>It keeps a record of every prescription dispensed in a BC community pharmacy and is administered by the Ministry of Health.<\/span> The steps<\/span> to get PharmaNet access for community health practice<\/span> are described <\/span><\/span>here<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span> For further details, <\/span><\/span>contact the PharmaNet team<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Results delivery is integrated with many EMRs in BC.
