This funding is provided by the Ministry of Health via NP Provincial Initiatives and Program (NP-PIP). This compensation increases NP involvement in PCN governance, thereby enhancing NP leadership and improving patient care across the province. Compensation for this resource is only available for primary care NPs working in publicly funded settings (PCN independent contractors, HA employed and CHC employed, and those employed through the First Nations Primary Care Initiative). This compensation is <\/span>not<\/b> available to NPs working in for-profit settings.<\/span><\/p>

This compensation is available for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) participating in PCN Steering Committees\/subcommittees, PCN hosted working groups, or committees requested by the Ministry of Health (MoH).\u00a0<\/p>
