2022 NNPBC Annual General Meeting

Public Director to the NNPBC Board

NNPBC is seeking a Public Director to sit on our Board of Directors. The term would begin on June 28, 2021 after the Annual General Meeting (AGM), ending at the 2022 AGM.

Per NNPBC Bylaws: "The Board will appoint a member of the public who is not a student enrolled in a nursing education program, a Registered Nurse, a Nurse Practitioner, a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, or a retired health professional." Please note, in order to honour the recommendations put forth in Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond’s report "In Plain Sight: Addressing Indigenous-specific Racism and Discrimination in B.C. Healthcare" those public members who have knowledge and/or experience (learned or lived) with Indigenous/BIPOC issues will be given particular consideration.

Applications will be reviewed by the NNPBC Board of Directors who will appoint the successful applicant to the Board. All applicants will be notified of the outcome.
